The Umbwe Route is the shortest and steepest route on Kilimanjaro. It ascends quickly through dense rainforest before joining the popular Machame route at Barranco Camp. This is a challenging trek recommended for fit climbers with previous hiking experience.

A steady ascent to Barafu. Early dinner and prepare for summit night.

Midnight summit push to Stella Point and Uhuru Peak (5,895m). After summit celebrations, descend to Barafu for rest, then to Mweka Camp.
Hiking Time: 3–4 Hours
Final descent through forest to Mweka Gate. Receive certificates and transfer to hotel.
