The Marangu Route, often referred to as the “Coca-Cola Route”, is one of the most popular trekking routes on Mount Kilimanjaro. This is the only route offering accommodation in mountain huts with solar power and bunk beds. It has a gentler gradient compared to other routes, making it suitable for first-time trekkers — though altitude acclimatization remains essential.
