Ol Doinyo Lengai – 4 Days Trek

Experience the sacred active volcano and the stunning Lake Natron landscapes.

Overview

Ol Doinyo Lengai (2,962m), known as the *Mountain of God* to the Maasai, is the only active carbonatite volcano in the world. Located near Lake Natron in northern Tanzania, the mountain offers a physically challenging midnight ascent to a breathtaking crater summit overlooking the Rift Valley — with Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru visible on clear days.

This 4-day itinerary includes a visit to Lake Natron, a Maasai cultural experience, natural waterfalls, and the climb itself.
