This **4-day itinerary** provides a more relaxed acclimatization pace compared to the 3-day version, making it ideal for most trekkers.

Detailed 4-Day Mount Meru Itinerary

Day 1: Momella Gate (1,500m) → Miriakamba Hut (2,500m)

Day 4: Saddle Hut → Socialist Peak (4,566m) → Momella Gate → Arusha

Hiking Time: 12–14 Hours | Habitat: Alpine & Forest

Begin the summit push around midnight. The trail is steep as you follow the crater rim to reach Socialist Peak in time for sunrise — with Kilimanjaro glowing on the horizon.
